Rotation
The water pump after fitting should not get stuck, in contact or make noise when it's turned by hand. It should not have strange noise in course of running.
Leakproofness
When water pump runs at speed of 20 revs/min, feed compressed air of pressure of 0.2Mpa into the cavity of the pump, for 4 seconds, balance for 8 and test for 3 seconds, its leakage should not be more than 3.6ml/min.
Capability Index
This index regulates different flow rate and lift of water pump under different rotation speed. |

Leakproofness Test
Water pump should receive 100% leakproofness test as below stipulated:
When water pump runs at speed of 20 revs/min, feed compressed air of pressure of 0.2Mpa into the cavity of the pump, for 5 seconds, balance for 8 and test for 3 seconds, its leakage should not be more than 3.6ml/min.
Capabilities Test
Test flow rate, lift and axial power of water pump at different rev, and draw chart of relationship between lift, axial power, pump efficiency and flow rate. | |
